The meet today went great. Only missed two lifts, and got 1st in my age group. Weighed in at less than I thought I would, but that's ok because I clearly lost no strength. Doing a bunch of new things and I’m running into a lot of new problems, a lot more exciting ones because I’m excited to create something different other than just music. It’s humbling to know that some of the problems that you or that I encounter extend beyond the tools and project before me. It’s challenging when feelings overwhelm you in the moment when an unexpected challenge arises. It’s important to recognize the moment in order to shift your attitude. Because even though words or other peoples actions may have inspired me to start this new thing now it’s the progress I’ve made that inspires me to give a shit today.   #stackinginspiration

Bench was the only thing I was disappointed about today but I've only been hitting it 2 times a week so w/e. 500 deadlift was my fave lift today I've wanted it for so long lmao, conventional bois 😂😂.

Didn’t bomb out. - Squats: 292.4 lbs (132.5 kgs) ⚪ ⚪ ⚪ - Bench: 215 lbs (95 kgs) 🔴 🔴 🔴 - Deadlift: 364lbs (165 kgs)⚪ ⚪ ⚪ 385.5lbs (175 kgs) 🔴 🔴 🔴 - Body weight: 52 kgs Total: 387.5 kgs - Despite missing my bench and deadlift last attempts and going 6/9, had an awesome first USAPL meet, hitting a personal squat PR. Eye opening experience and now back to the drawing board.

I had so much fun. I honestly had more fun on that last deadlift that anything else 😂 (warning: last pics of my torn up hands haha). And tbh I had no idea I had that grip strength in me either haha. I have NOTHING to complain about with todays performance. 7wk prep, first time seriously cutting, 1st in my weight class (which is whatever lol) was honestly a perfect day to me and I’ve learned a ton. Went kinda conservative on squats to not burn myself out early, perfect on these. The miss on bench was me being a dummy and we fixed it on the last attempt, but overall great. The last dead was as balls to the walls as it gets and I would not have had it any other way. Overshot it by 👌🏽 much haha. Still got a PR so I’m coo wit it haha. Also technically broke my state record from last meet but forgot to tell em beforehand so doesn’t count towards that 🤷🏽‍♂️ • S/O to   @bonschro   for handling me and   @freakynate94   for taking care of little ish for me all day. Absolutely beautiful, on point, dialed in coaching from @_jessicawester Like this meet was perfect cause of her. She is as crazy busy as I am (probably more busy lol) and took the time to coach me in weights and nutrition so I cannot thank her enough.   @drtravisfleming   for making my body not hurt in a single joint and allowing me to perform today. All the   @uspapower   judges today and   @jplifts  _sbc ,phenominal job. Lastly, thanks to all the friends sending me msgs and cheering me on.
