✨10 ways to stay mindful throughout the day.✨
If you’re anything like me, sometimes life can get a little hectic + lots of things all happening at once.
So here’s my top tips on staying mindful throughout the day!
1️⃣ Take a breath.
Allow yourself to take deep breaths + active your body’s natural flow of breathing. So many of us don’t truly breath throughout the day + causes a lot of tension.
2️⃣ Learn to focus.
Tackle one task at a time. Stop trying to spread yourself thin throughout the day. You’ll burn out + throw in the towel, not getting anything done.
3️⃣ Slow down.
There is no need to be high functioning energy all day long every single day. It’s okay to slow down for a moment + just focus your energy, being more mindful.
4️⃣ Let go of emotions.
It doesn’t serve you to keep negative emotions with you throughout the day. My favorite question is, “did you really have a bad day or did you allow one bad moment to cause you to have a bad day?”
5️⃣ Just stop for a moment.
There is beautiful things happening all around you. We are floating on a giant ball in the middle of space for crying out loud.
6️⃣ Connect with nature.
This will always be my favorite. Nature instantly calms you down + gets you grounded.
7️⃣ Eat well.
I have been eating like crap the last 2 weeks + man do I feel it. Fuel your body with the right things. It will allow you to perform better.
8️⃣ Check in with yourself.
Literally. How many times a day do you take a moment to just ask yourself how you’re feeling? Check in.
Release all things that don’t deserve you. Release those timelines because you can’t control that. Release all those negative emotions + thoughts, they don’t serve you.
🔟 Connect with yourself.
Close your eyes + connect with all your senses. We forget how truly amazing we are. Being a human being is mind blowing. Remember how special you are.
